Curteis visits Treasure at London Jewellery Week
Our visit to Treasure Last Thursday, 9th June, four members of Curteis staff travelled to London to attend the first ever Trade Day at the Treasure Exhibition. We had no idea what to expect but we were not disappointed! We had plenty to see, with our 120 jewellery designers showcasing their creations. Treasure is certainly a celebration for jewellery designers from the UK. It provides a great opportunity to view new collections and innovative ideas, using traditional techniques and modern technology. It was an honour and a privilege to attend Treasure and we were able to visit some of our customers, from whom we received high praise. They were particularly grateful to the service we provide them and the quality of Curteis Chain. -

URGENT - SAVE THE HALLMARK
The UK Government aims to reduce regulation which stifles enterprise and industry. The message appears to be that every regulation highlighted will be abolished unless visitors to their website www.redtapechallenge.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/hallmarking express sufficient good reasons to convince Ministers that this particular regulation must be kept. Hallmarking is on of the topics which the population is invited to air their views from now until 5th May 2011. It is important to the consumer for the current and future UK Jewellery Industry to maintain hallmarking as a statutory independent service. We urgent you to click here and express your views now, before hallmarking is deregulated and 700 years of even handed consumer protection is brought to an end - not because people don't want it, but by default.
