We've been at the Spring Show at the NEC for over thirty years in succession.  Last year we took a reduced sized booth in the designer section, but this year, 2014, we've decided to pack up completely. The reason?  The internet.

Each day we get around 250 visits to our website, some days 350, and over 50 online orders.  The numbers have doubled in the last two years and show no sign of abating.  We’ve made online search intuitive and fast, and we want to invest more of our time, money and effort into this way of reaching out to our customers.  Because it’s working.

 We’ll still do IJL in September, and will continue to get face to face feedback from everybody there.  The number of reps going out is also increasing, with Jenny joining Sue and Seema in the office repping team, while  Andrew, Nick, Simon and Ian are still developing the business in the field-selling team. The website will see another version as soon as we can get it completed.   Jewellers are setting up and working on their own websites and calling the office every day for information about either our datafeed service, or the Instore selling system.  It’s all very new, and ideas for making jewellery selling easier for our customers and their consumers are buzzing.  More details later.
